Introduction
Our Sales Department seeks to employ an External Sales Representative reporting to the Sales Manager. The main purpose of this role is to develop and seek new business, forge and sustain good relations with clients as well as retaining new existing business.
Responsibilities
- Improve the company's market share in the field and achieve sustainable financial growth
- Monitor and survey the market, customers and new buying processes
- The applicant's main objective is to maximise the order intake from current and prospective clients and winning good tenders in order to grow the business
- Developing and managing customer relationships, ensuring clear communication and addressing issues effectively and promptly, thus becoming the point of contact for any matters related to the company
- Identify future business opportunities, market trends and developments within the market. Collect competitive information and provide feedback into the company's organization
- Indentifying any new products complimenting the existing product range
- Identify potential clients and decision makers within the client organization
- Addressing and resolving client queries promptly and satisfactorily
- Physically conductig site surveys to detemine requirements and preparing proposals
- Building and maintaining professional relationships with clients
- Compiling and submitting management reports
Minimum Requirements
- At least 5 years experience in a professional sales environment with a proven track record
- Self-starter who is well presented and portrays a professional image at all times
- Full competence in the use and application of the MS Office suite with operating knowledge of SAP Business 1, will be an advantage
- Must be prepared to travel, with own transport and a valid driver's license is essential
- Previous experience in the Engineering industry would be advantageous
- No criminal record or previous convictions
- Exellent oral and written communications skills
