Introduction
Role Overview
Reporting to the Commercial Executive for the Gauteng Region, the successful applicant will serve as the 2IC and will be responsible for driving commercial excellence while strengthening the risk and internal control environment across the region. This strategic leadership role combines advanced commercial management with hands-on risk mitigation and process optimisation across multiple operational support structures.
The role also reports into a Divisional Executive and includes the following key outputs outlined below.

Key Responsibilities
Commercial Management & Analytics

Develop pricing strategies, margin forecasting, and commercial analytics.

Lead the optimisation and automation of regional KPI reports.

Conduct in-depth customer and product profitability analysis, identifying growth opportunities.
Risk Management & Internal Controls

Design and implement internal controls, conduct risk assessments, and ensure compliance.

Develop strategies to mitigate risks and promote a culture of governance and risk awareness.
Strategic Project Leadership

Implement systems such as SAP MRP and EWM, driving operational excellence initiatives.

Introduce and manage advanced commercial analytics platforms to track customer and product profitability.

Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

CIMA, CA(SA), or equivalent qualification (mandatory).

Several years of relevant experience in finance roles (manufacturing industry advantageous).

Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret data, figures, and financial statements.

Proven commercial acumen in pricing, margin management, and profitability analysis.
