We’re looking for a Marketing Automation Administrator to manage and scale our marketing tech stack, with a strong focus on email marketing campaigns and lifecycle automation. In this role, you’ll be hands-on in conceptualizing, building, and optimizing campaigns that drive engagement and conversions, while also supporting broader areas like lead scoring, database management, and system integrations.
Responsibilities
As a Marketing Automation Administrator, you will:
- Design, build, and launch email campaigns, nurture sequences, and triggered programs in Marketo.
- Execute A/B testing and personalization strategies (subject lines, dynamic content, segmentation).
- Monitor and improve email deliverability, engagement, and compliance (GDPR, CAN-SPAM).
- Manage and optimize the marketing database, ensuring data accuracy, effective segmentation, deduplication, and overall quality.
- Track, analyze, and share insights on email performance metrics, campaign conversion and attribution, turning data into actionable recommendations.
- Administer the marketing technology stack (Marketo, Mailchimp, Intercom, etc.) to ensure reliable day-to-day operations.
- Document processes, workflows, and campaign guidelines to ensure consistency, scalability, and knowledge-sharing across the team.
- Gather qualitative feedback from Sales, Customer Success, and Marketing stakeholders to improve processes, campaign effectiveness, and conversion rates.
To be successful in this role as a Marketing Automation Administrator, you should:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business.
- 2+ years of experience in marketing automation (Marketo preferred), ideally within a B2B software environment.
- Solid understanding of email marketing best practices (deliverability, A/B testing, personalization).
- Experience with B2B lead nurturing and funnel optimization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate campaign performance data into actionable improvements, leveraging Excel for reporting, segmentation, and data analysis.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Nice to Haves
- Experience with HTML/CSS for email templates.
- Familiarity with deliverability monitoring tools and best practices.
- Experience with CRM integrations (Salesforce, or equivalent).
