Physical Sciences Teacher to join their high school faculty. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching
Grades 10 to 12, with a strong focus on preparing students for Matric examinations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
- Teach Physical Sciences to Grade 10–12 learners, ensuring high academic standards.
- Prepare engaging and effective lesson plans aligned with curriculum requirements.
- Assess, record, and report on learners’ progress.
- Provide academic support and guidance to learners preparing for final examinations.
- Contribute to the broader life of the school through participation in extracurricular activities and events.
Requirements:
- A recognized teaching qualification (B.Ed. or PGCE) with a specialization in Physical Sciences.
- SACE registered
- Proven experience teaching Physical Sciences at the FET phase (Grades 10–12).
- Demonstrated success in preparing learners for matric examinations.
- IEB teaching experience will be highly advantageous.
- Strong communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
- Passion for education and commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
