Introduction
Our client, a leading insurer in South Africa, is seeking a skilled Product Specialist to join them on an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs.
The consultant will play a key role in supporting the Actuarial Services team by assessing business requests, correcting errors, and performing product build-ups for Savings & Investment (S&I) and New Generation products. This role requires a detail-oriented, analytical professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a collaborative environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Assess and process requests for business decisions and error corrections on New Generation and S&I products.
- Prepare build-ups of savings and investment products across various funds.
- Perform unit adjustments on BaNCS based on build-up results.
- Gain a strong understanding of the new range of products (training to be provided).
- Learn and adhere to Actuarial Services ways of working, including SharePoint usage, decision-making principles, and internal processes (training to be provided).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy and compliance.
