Minimum Requirements
- 120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate (mandatory)
- Police clearance certificate (required)
- Bachelor’s Degree (advantageous but not required)
- Prior online tutoring experience (preferred)
- Strong English skills (accent neutral)
- Excellent communication and computer literacy
- Ability to teach a minimum of 40 hours per week
- Goal- and target-oriented mindset
- Committed to flexible working weekends, public holidays, and over December & January
Working Hours & Technical Requirements
Working Hours
- Full-time, home-based
- Daily availability from 2 PM to 10 PM (SA Time)
- Peak teaching hours: 4 PM – 10 PM
Technical Requirements
- Laptop/PC with:
- Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @ 2.4GHz or higher
- 8GB RAM or higher
- Internet: Uncapped fiber connection, minimum 10 Mbps (upload & download), LAN connected (not Wi-Fi)
- Power backup: UPS with 4–5 hour battery life (2000VA)
- Headset: Noise-cancelling with microphone (plus backup recommended)
- Webcam: HD quality
- Dedicated, quiet, and well-lit teaching environment
