Duties & Responsibilities

What You’ll Do

As part of our expanding team, you’ll:
Deliver engaging and effective English lessons to international learners.
Motivate and guide students with positive reinforcement and feedback.
Maintain high teaching standards and consistently meet weekly teaching goals.
Work independently while demonstrating professionalism and responsibility.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements
120-hour TEFL/TESOL certificate (mandatory)
Police clearance certificate (required)
Bachelor’s Degree (advantageous but not required)
Prior online tutoring experience (preferred)
Strong English skills (accent neutral)
Excellent communication and computer literacy
Ability to teach a minimum of 40 hours per week
Goal- and target-oriented mindset
Committed to flexible working weekends, public holidays, and over December & January

Working Hours & Technical Requirements

Working Hours

Full-time, home-based
Daily availability from 2 PM to 10 PM (SA Time)
Peak teaching hours: 4 PM – 10 PM

Technical Requirements

Laptop/PC with:
- Intel ® Core™ i5 CPU @ 2.4GHz or higher
- 8GB RAM or higher
Internet: Uncapped fiber connection, minimum 10 Mbps (upload & download), LAN connected (not Wi-Fi)
Power backup: UPS with 4–5 hour battery life (2000VA)
Headset: Noise-cancelling with microphone (plus backup recommended)
Webcam: HD quality
Dedicated, quiet, and well-lit teaching environment
