Introduction
Hazmat Global Support Services is a global freight forwarding company that specializes in the packaging and movement of dangerous goods and specialized cargo.
We currently have over 28 offices globally and 5 offices in South Africa including Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth and Cape Town.
We are growing and require a Business Development Consultant to join our teams in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban.
The role will suit a self-starter with an outgoing personality who can communicate confidently on all levels.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties and responsibilites will include:
- Quoting and providing taylormade solutions for customers
- Developing new business and clients
- Customer services and maintaining relationships with existing clients
- Ensure targets are met and exceeded monthly
- Cold calling
- Handling customer queries
- Meeting with clients
- Continually source sufficient lead generating opportunities
- Reporting
- Complete weekly reports that show sales actiivity and progress
- Maintain the required dress code and professional appearance
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric/Grade 12
- Candidate must have his own transport (CAR) and license
- Formal Sales Qualification would be an advantage
- At least 2 years new business sales experience in logsitics/freight fowarding/courier is essential. *Do not apply if you do not have sales experience in the freight forwarding or courier industry
- Track record of canvassing, cold calling and hunting new business.
- Strong face-to-face sales experience
- Computer literate (Microsoft-Office)
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Negotiating and Sales Skills.
- Can Do Attitude.
- Self-motivated and passionate about driving Sales.
- Customer Orientated and Solution driven.
Package & Remuneration
- Salary would in the region of R15 000 – R35 000 per month
- We are open to negotiations should the candidate have the relevant experience and add value
