We are seeking a HaloPSA expert who can own, optimize, and evolve the platform within a Managed Service Provider environment. This role requires deep, hands-on HaloPSA experience to design, implement, and continuously improve workflows and automation that support daily MSP operations.
Role Overview
Own HaloPSA end to end. Build from the ground up, fine tune configurations, and tailor every component to align with established IT service processes. Serve as the resident HaloPSA authority responsible for smooth operations, team efficiency, and accurate reporting and visibility across service operations.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and configure HaloPSA from scratch, including initial setup, workflows, service catalogs, ticketing structures, and automation.
Continuously optimize and maintain the environment for performance and usability.
Design and align processes such as ticket management, SLA tracking, billing, projects, and client reporting.
Build custom dashboards, metrics, and reports that provide actionable insights into service performance and client outcomes.
Develop and manage API integrations with RMM tools, documentation platforms, accounting systems, and identity management tools.
Automate repetitive or manual tasks within HaloPSA to increase operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform or configuration issues.
Train internal users on best practices for HaloPSA usage and keep documentation current.
Stay current with HaloPSA releases, updates, and best practices to continually evolve capabilities.
Requirements
Requirements
Extensive, hands-on HaloPSA experience (minimum 3–5 years), including full implementations and custom configurations.
Proven ability to deploy HaloPSA from scratch, not only manage existing setups.
Deep understanding of IT service delivery models, SLAs, billing structures, and project workflows in fast-paced technical environments.
Strong experience with HaloPSA automations, API connections, and data mapping.
Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills with a track record of process improvement.
Clear communication and documentation skills.
Self-motivated and organized with strong follow-through and accountability.
Familiarity with ITIL or service management frameworks is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
HaloPSA certification or demonstrable portfolio of past HaloPSA implementations.
Experience integrating HaloPSA with systems such as ITGlue, QuickBooks, or ConnectWise Sell.
Background in MSP or IT services environment strongly preferred.
