We are seeking an Event Marketing Executive to oversee the digital aspects of our event marketing campaigns, driving attendance, increasing registrations, and expanding our overall reach.
Reporting to the Head of Event Marketing, the successful candidate will work closely with other marketing stakeholders to deliver event marketing campaigns, while also supporting the broader brand marketing strategy.
The ideal candidate will be organised, innovative, and passionate about developing engaging digital marketing campaigns. They should thrive under pressure, maintain high attention to detail, and be capable of managing multiple concurrent campaigns. Responsibilities
- Use email marketing platforms and automations (Pardot and SendGrid) to deliver effective direct marketing campaigns.
- Create email campaigns, including building dynamic templates, audience segmentation, and copywriting.
- Execute strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and conversions across new and existing subscribers.
- Monitor and regularly report on the effectiveness of all campaign activity. Demonstrate ROI and recommend strategic changes based on data analysis.
- Create visual assets using design tools like Canva to produce engaging content for event promotions.
- Collaborate with the events team to implement best practices, optimise customer conversion, and facilitate cross-functional event promotion.
- Use market intelligence, customer insights, and data analysis to improve understanding of audiences and enhance marketing effectiveness.
Required Experience
- Ideally, 1–2 years of B2B marketing experience in an events or digital marketing role, with a focus on email marketing and campaign planning.
- CRM knowledge and experience (previous experience with Salesforce, Pardot, and SendGrid is an advantage).
- Experience creating and publishing social media content, with exposure to owned, paid, and earned media strategies.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects, maintain attention to detail, and deliver to tight deadlines.
- Demonstrated experience managing strategic media partnerships and related relationships.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter, able to work independently and lead multiple projects autonomously.
