Position Description PIMCO is looking for a content marketing professional to support the firm’s content marketing efforts in EMEA. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to grow their skills by helping to develop best-in-class content marketing programs aimed at increasing audience engagement and enhancing client relationships across institutional and wealth management channels in multiple EMEA markets. In this role you will collaborate closely with multiple stakeholders including content marketing colleagues based in the US and APAC, EMEA channel marketing team and events team, as well as external agency partners, where necessary. The ideal candidate will have strong written communication skills, a keen interest in investment management and the ability to manage projects effectively in a dynamic business environment. You will assist in creating and adapting high-quality content and simplifying complex concepts into clear and compelling messages for our target audiences. A good understanding of digital, search, and social media platforms is important, along with the ability to tailor content to different channels. Responsibilities include: Assist in delivering PIMCO’s EMEA marketing content strategy in alignment with global priorities, global thought leadership strategy and local business objectives to deliver measurable business results for firm initiatives: Create high quality, highly effective and targeted content across regions in a variety of web/digital friendly formats to promote PIMCO’s broad range of products and services Ensure consistency of messaging, quality control and process implementation across all content created, as well as constant application of all editorial standards (brand, tone of voice, legal and compliance requirements) and best practices Drive creative content streams for digital sales and engagement programs across various channels (including full funnel social media campaigns) to build personalized client journeys for customer acquisition, retention and engagement Keep up to date with content-related digital best practices, emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities to influence purchase decisions and enhance the client experience Use advanced analytics and client insights to develop programs for communicating the right message to the right audience at the right time to deliver the right business outcomes Partner with country marketing heads and their teams to ensure optimization of global, regional and local content across a variety of channels including Web, Social, Direct Mail, Events & Paid Media Partner with cross-divisional stakeholders to ensure business alignment and efficiencies through regional collaboration and effective use of Portfolio Management / Product Strategy Group time Manage sign offs with multiple stakeholders at all levels; collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across BAU, campaigns and projects to deliver quality content on tight deadlines Position Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or business related discipline Professional qualification in economics or finance (e.g., CFA, CAIA) is strongly desired Experience: Extensive experience in investment writing/product content experience Some experience working in, or collaborating with, a marketing function; or a background in financial journalism. Candidates with communications, product management or sales experience from the investment management industry will also be considered.
