MD Gulf Recruitment, in collaboration with our network partners in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is sourcing experienced Maintenance Engineers (Turnaround & Inspection) for high-profile Oil & Gas downstream projects, including refining and petrochemical plants.

Duties & Responsibilities

Lead and participate in turnaround and inspection (T&I) planning, execution, and close-out activities.
Develop and coordinate maintenance programs, procedures, and systems ensuring continuous improvement.
Assist or lead turnaround assurance reviews and cold-eye assessments.
Manage turnaround planning software (Prometheus, ROSER, Primavera P6) and end-to-end solutions.
Conduct risk, scope, and schedule challenge workshops.
Provide technical support to maintenance teams for repair procedures and ongoing monitoring.
Oversee contract strategy, technical bid evaluations, and resource management.
Participate in emergency plant shutdowns focusing on quality assurance and execution.
Review KPIs, lessons learned, and post-turnaround reports to enhance future performance.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Education: BS in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience:
- Minimum 12 years in turnaround management and maintenance engineering within Oil & Gas (Refining & Petrochemicals).
- Proven expertise in turnaround planning, budgeting, risk management, and cost optimization.
- SAP system proficiency.
Certifications: FE, PE, API, NACE, or ASME. PMP preferred.

- Strong technical and analytical ability.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Fluent in English; well-presented and professional.
