Introduction
Our client is seeking a well-rounded Financial Accountant to join their dynamic finance team. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Oversee payroll processing and statutory payments
- Prepare and post journal entries (accruals, provisions, prepayments)
- Maintain and reconcile the general ledger
- Support reporting, audits, and compliance processes
- Manage foreign currency transactions and apply IFRS standards
- Assist with group structures and consolidations
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Degree in Accounting or Finance
- SAIPA/SAICA Articles (preferred)
- 3+ years of experience
- Experience with foreign currencies (advantageous)
- Strong technical accounting knowledge
- Advanced Excel skills
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple priorities
Package & Remuneration
CTC = R450 000
