My client, a leading fintech innovator in the secure payments space, is looking for a skilled Intermediate Developer to join their development team based in Stellenbosch. This is a hybrid role—with the first 6 months based on-site, followed by a flexible hybrid working arrangement.

Duties & Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Integrate new clients into existing systems and platforms
- Design, develop, and test new features and enhancements
- Maintain and improve current systems
- Resolve 3rd-line support queries
- Participate in system audits and security improvements
- Contribute to continuous improvements in development practices and processes
Desired Experience & Qualification
\uD83D\uDD27 Core Tech Stack & Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years of hands-on software development experience
- Proficient in Java (Standard & Enterprise Editions) and Spring Boot
- Strong experience with SQL (MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL)
- Familiar with tools like Eclipse/NetBeans, Maven, and Git
- Experience working in a CI/CD environment
- Understanding of OpenAPI protocols
➕ Nice to Have
- Experience with financial transaction processing systems
- Exposure to multi-threaded, real-time, high-volume systems
- Familiarity with Postilion (source/sink node development)
- Agile methodology experience (Scrum, Kanban)
- Exposure to front-end frameworks, particularly Angular
