Introduction
Our client's main business is the distribution of a wide range of agricultural hygiene, veterinary and related products to the poultry and pig industry. These include disinfectants, vitamins, vaccines, medications, feed additives, equipment, and rodenticides. They are an ISO accredited company with manufacturing facilities in Spartan, Kempton Park where they produce a full range of agricultural chemical products. They are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Controller to oversee and coordinate warehouse operations at their distribution facility in Kempton Park.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key responsibilities:

Manage daily warehouse activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of products.
•
Supervise drivers and coordinate delivery logistics to ensure timely and efficient distribution.
•
Ensure proper handling and storage of temperature-sensitive products in line with cold chain requirements.
•
Maintain accurate inventory records and enforce stock rotation practices (FIFO).
•
Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organised and compliant with health and safety standards.
•
Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet operational targets.
•
Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
•
Conduct routine stock counts and support internal and external audit processes.
•
Uphold and improve warehouse SOPs and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate must meet the following requirements:

Matric (Grade 12) – essential
•
Fluent in English
•
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a warehouse supervisory/management role.
•
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
•
Valid forklift license and familiarity with GWP practices will be beneficial.
•
Ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and plan logistics effectively.
