Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes.
- Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and software engineers to support data needs across the organization.
- Work with structured and unstructured datasets from various sources.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and security best practices.
- Optimize database performance and manage cloud-based data infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot data issues and provide timely solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in SQL and at least one programming language (e.g. Python, Scala, or Java).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Basic understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience with tools like Airflow, dbt, or similar (a plus for junior; expected for experienced).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
