Introduction
Our client, based in the northern suburbs of Cape Town, is an established player in the market for property finance in SA. They have been in operation for 12 years.
They broaden the market for home finance by offering a home loan structured as an instalment sale.
Their businesses are fully integrated in the market and are well known.
They are in an exciting phase of rapid growth and is seeking a credit analyst to assist with
credit origination and management of the credit process.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive credit applications
- Perform creditworthiness and affordability procedures. General application processing
- Database management
- Handle telephonic and e-mail queries regarding their offerings, application status, quotations issued or any other questions regarding the products.
- Loan book management – forbearance, restructuring, collections management.
- Reporting
Team Structure:
• Report to credit manager and director
• Team of nine in the Bellville office
• Work closely with administration and fulfilment teams
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualifications:
• Matric
• Industry specific qualifications would recommend the applicant
Experience:
• Credit environment experience and/or mortgage industry experience of at least 2 years.
• Demonstrated Excel ability
• Understanding of home loans environment would be advantageous.
