Job Description
Golden Acres may be compact at 3.2 m², but the possibilities are limitless for those who dare to dream big.

So, what will you do?
- You will be responsible for assisting with the management of an iKhokha Store with full ownership and accountability when the Store Manager is not on site.
- You will also be accountable for driving monthly sales, activation ratio’s, staff route planning for outbound activities, proactively creating revenue-generating opportunities in line with iKhokha performance goals.
- Additionally, day to day you will;
- Open & close the store with adherence to trading times according to iK store operating hours.
- Assist in creating efficient and delightful merchant instore experiences.
- Act as an immediate support to sales agents within the iKhokha Store network.
- Oversee stock management processes within the iK Store.
In addition to the above, you will:
- Be accountable for the performance of agents based in the designated store.
- Dialling leads generated in field for conversion.
- Sales.
- Assist with traction on store ratings online.
- Customer service.
- In-field supervision of sales agent.
- Adherence to store operating hours.
- Assist in profile creations for merchants.
- Train and coach field & in-store agents.
- Monitor productivity of staff daily as per company requirement.
- Management of time and attendance.
- Conduct check-ins with merchants previously visited by agents.
- Assisting with stock management. Receiving and dispatching stock.
- Weekly stock takes and cycle counting.
- Basic understanding of POS systems for stock management.
- Management of store asset registers.
- Report back to internal stakeholders weekly/monthly on store performance.
- Report to the Store manager daily.
- Feedback on general in-store activity.
- Reporting to logistics/finance on any stock queries.
- Report in required market insights within the designated area.
Qualifications
- National Senior Certificate (Matric) Required.
Deal Breakers:
1+ years’ retail or sales experience as well as cold calling sales, field or retail experience, with the following additional requirements:
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite; specifically Word, Outlook, Excel.
- An understanding of retail and branch operating dynamics.
- Ability to convert cold and warm leads gathered by sales staff.
- Experience working with CRM systems, preferably Hubspot.
- Basic understanding of logistics processes and best practice of managing stock inflows and outflows.
- Strong commercial skills and business acumen, with the ability to execute against sales and customer service targets.
- Strong interpersonal and people management skills with proven ability to coach and energise sales people in the branch environment.
- Strong communication skills over the phone, written and in person, with the ability to speak both English and vernacular language within designated store.
