Introduction
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Semi-Skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with diesel engines and be eager to learn and grow within the trade.
Duties & Responsibilities
Assist in the repair, service, and maintenance of diesel trucks, trailers, and equipment
Perform routine inspections and identify potential mechanical issues
Work with senior mechanics with diagnostics and breakdown repairs
Follow all safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work area
Record work done on job cards and report progress to the supervisor
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as a semi-skilled diesel mechanic or similar role
Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Expirienced in the following trucks (Mercedes 2646, MAN TGM 25.280, HINO 500)
Matric or equivalent (advantage)
Valid driver’s license (Code 10/14 preferred)
Ability to work under pressure and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
