Job Summary:
The Finance Manager – Emerging Markets is responsible for driving robust financial planning, analysis, and control to support strategic business growth across emerging markets. The successful candidate will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and advise executive leadership on major financial decisions. This role demands expertise in managing financial operations in fast-paced, complex environments, with a strong emphasis on efficiency, risk management, and adaptability—particularly within the pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Oversee the budget process and monitor monthly performance, ensuring accuracy and alignment with targets.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and continuously drive financial efficiencies across the organization.
- Prepare and present timely, compliant financial statements in accordance with laws and regulations.
- Manage cash flow, optimize cash conversion cycles, and support operational efficiency.
- Administer investment strategies, maintaining optimal working capital levels for business growth.
- Oversee and coordinate financial audits, assess financial risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Advise on critical financial decisions, including investments, acquisitions, and expansion opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Master’s degree and/or professional certification (MBA, CFA, CPA) preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, including team leadership.
- Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems, especially Oracle.
- Proven experience managing financial operations in international, emerging market environments.
- Strong understanding of currency volatility, import/export regulations, and cost optimization in manufacturing or supply chain contexts.
