Job Title: Modern Workplace Lead

You and Your Team:
We are seeking a highly technical Modern Workplace Lead with deep expertise across Microsoft 365 and Azure technologies, ideally certified in Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500), and Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert, to drive modern workplace transformation, lead technical strategy, and guide the team in delivering secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions.
In your day-to-day role, as a Modern Workplace Lead, some of the responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute the modern workplace strategy aligned with organisational goals and technological advancements.
- Lead the planning, design, and implementation of end-user computing (EUC) solutions, including hardware, software, and services.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement in the workplace.
- Oversee assigned programs and provide guidance to team members.
- Oversee the deployment and management of EUC solutions, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.
- Ensure the efficient operation and support of collaboration tools such as Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and other productivity applications.
- Implement and manage virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) and remote access solutions to support flexible working arrangements.
- Monitor and manage the lifecycle of end-user devices, ensuring timely upgrades, patching, and replacements.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on projects, initiatives, and changes in the EUC environment
What will make you stand out?
- Recent experience of working in an FCA regulated business.
- Analytical thinking who can interpret MI/BI and use it for sound decision making.
- Understanding of corporate governance frameworks
- Previous experience within large scale tech and change enterprise environment.
- Experience of working with a variety of stakeholders, resolving different agendas, conflict and achieving positive outcomes.
- Demonstrate tenacity and drive, with a proven ability to identify pragmatic and imaginative solutions to complex issues without compromising the requirement to maintain compliance with governance processes.
- Evidence the ability to exercise significant judgement to analyse situations and develop new approaches.
- Commercial awareness and horizon scanning
- Ability to lead, coach and mentor a team.
- Solid understanding of key drivers for service and operational performance
- Have extensive training and knowledge on computer software and hardware, including servers and systems.
