Role Overview
We are looking for a strategic and visionary Global Director of Influencer & Social to lead the evolution of Havas Play’s global capabilities in influencer marketing, creator partnerships, and social strategy. This senior leader will define a differentiated offering that goes beyond traditional influencer campaigns — integrating creators, culture, commerce, and content into one cohesive system, and drive effective business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and champion a unique and compelling positioning for Havas Play in Influencer & Social — rooted in culture, fuelled by creators, and built for impact supported by a robust set of measurement frameworks and tech stack.
Design a modular service framework that includes influencer strategy, creator partnerships, social-first content, social commerce, community strategy, paid social amplification, measurement & tools.
Partner with local Play and Havas markets to adapt the global vision to local nuances, audiences, and platforms. Help activate clients and co-develop playbooks, guidelines, and content strategies.
Implement scalable processes, tools, and measurement systems for influencer vetting, campaign execution, performance tracking, and reporting — including partnerships with tech platforms and tools.
Act as a global spokesperson and thought leader in influencer marketing and social trends. Represent the network in client meetings, conferences, festivals, and industry forums.
Profile & Skills
8+ years of experience in influencer marketing, social media, content, or digital innovation — ideally within an agency, platform, or brand.
Demonstrated experience in social commerce, showcasing an ability to develop fully integrated strategies that connect content, creators, commerce and media.
Deep understanding of the creator economy, social platforms, content formats, performance models, and cultural dynamics.
Hands-on experience with influencer and social platforms/tools (e.g., Tagger, CreatorIQ, Sprout Social), and strong knowledge of social listening and analytics.
