Introduction
My client, a UK based company is looking for a Sales Consultant to engage with Existing and New Clients.
Duties & Responsibilities
Client Engagement & Conversion
Manage and close deals with three categories of clients:
- Hot clients — newly referred via accountants and ready to engage.
- Warm clients— existing in our system through active accountant referral.
- Cold clients— past leads with lapsed accountant relationships.
- Re-engage cold clients by obtaining updated data, reintroducing the platform, and converting them back into active users.
- Conduct savings consultations across core categories: energy, water, mobile, telecoms, and card payments.
New Business Generation
- Proactively cold-call potential leads and businesses to introduce the service.
- Identify new prospects and convert them into warm leads through persuasive outreach and rapport-building.
Appointment Setting
- Schedule high-quality appointments for both APMs (Accountant Partnership Managers) and Senior CPMs with accountants and key clients.
- When your performance is strong, you may co-attend larger client meetings with a Senior CPM, helping deepen relationships and close strategic deals.
CRM & Pipeline Management
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in our CRM, tracking leads, pipeline stages, client interactions, and outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with APMs and Sales Team to drive seamless handovers and maximise conversion.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Perfect spoken and written UK English— impeccable communication with business owners and accountants.
- Enthusiastic and energetic presence, even over the phone.
- An intuitiveunderstanding of different client personalities, with the ability to tailor your pitch accordingly.
- Expertise with hot, warm, and cold leads, knowing how to transition them through the funnel with tact and persistence.
- Strong phone and rapport-building skills— especially in cold outreach.
- Prior experience in B2B sales or business development(ideally 3+ years), preferably across SME or fintech sectors.
- Comfortable selling across verticals: energy, water, mobile, telecoms, card payments.
- Quick learner and adaptable — able to pick up tools, sector knowledge, and client dynamics swiftly.
- Excellent numeracy and commercial awarenessto discuss savings and outcomes credibly.
