Your career at Deutsche Börse GroupYour area of work:As an Intern - Risk Management (f/m/d) you will have an excellent opportunity to explore capital market dynamics and gain valuable practical experience in the Reporting & Data Quality Management unit of the Risk Exposure Management section. The responsibilities of the unit are, among others, creation of regular and comprehensive management and regulatory risk reports, monitoring and mitigation of various risks as well as improving data quality standards to further strengthen risk management processes. During your internship, you will be actively taking part in our processes, while we will be offering you diverse, interesting and above all challenging tasks.
Your responsibilities: - You will regularly create comprehensive risk management reports and gain insights into Margining, Credit Stress Testing methodology and Credit, Concentration & Wrong Way Risks concepts
- You will support the team in designing and improving risk reporting tools using self-service functionalities and driving automatization of existing processes
- You will support data and report users with deep dive analysis of data anomalies
- You will support the team with regular parameter updates
- You will be part in developing data quality standards for the department and improve resilience of existing or future processes
- You will help specify new risk reports and implement changes to current ones to further improve transparency
Your profile: - You are matriculated throughout the duration of your internship at a state approved university with minimum of four semesters of undergraduate studies in economics, finance, mathematics, physics, financial engineering, computer science or any other comparable field
- You have a keen interest or ideally already gained experience in the field of financial markets, risk management or data analytics
- You have a proven track of working within an operational setup, where regular timelines and quality standards need to be continuously fulfilled
- You are a team player and bring excellent communication and presentation skills
- You have good knowledge of MS-Office applications and practical experience in SQL, Power BI, Python or any data intelligence platform
- You are proficient in written and spoken English
