We’re looking for a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team in the media and online publication space, focusing on B2B sales to the travel industry.
Duties & Responsibilities
You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving subscription and advertising sales within the travel and tourism sector. Your goal is to grow revenue through strategic sales efforts and creative business solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospect, identify, and secure new business clients in the travel and tourism industry.
- Present and sell online media subscriptions, advertising packages, and partnership opportunities.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through excellent service and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue targets.
- Keep up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity.
- Prepare sales proposals and reports as required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Requirements:
- Proven B2B sales experience, preferably in media, digital, or subscription-based environments.
- A hunter mentality with a strong focus on achieving sales targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
Valid driver’s licence and own reliable vehicle (essential)
Package & Remuneration
Basic salary of aproximately R18 000 p.m. plus commission and performance bonusses.
