Job Description
We are seeking a motivated Project Engineer to support our ongoing projects reporting to the Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have a design background and be eager to expand their skills into project management and multidisciplinary coordination.
- Develop and review engineering designs using CAD software
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are met
- Analyse design requirements and provide innovative solutions
- Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and reports
- Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project needs
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments
- Implement design modifications and improvements as needed
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Construction Engineering, Architecture, MEP, or a related field.
- Experience in railway projects and/or a design background (Civil/Architectural/MEP) is a strong plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in design, construction, technical office, or project coordination.
- Strong understanding of design processes and an interest in project management activities such as planning, coordination, stakeholder management activities and documentation.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project, Aconex, SharePoint) is an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
- Solid understanding of project documentation, reporting, and administrative workflows.
- Proactive, organized, and eager to learn from all disciplines; able to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
