Job Description
Role Overview:
The People Operations and Systems Coordinator at FRP plays a pivotal role in delivering a seamless and efficient employee experience. This is a hands-on, operational role focused on optimising HR systems, driving continuous improvement, and end to end employee lifecycle administration. You’ll be responsible for ensuring data accuracy and supporting system configuration and reporting. Working closely with the wider People team and external vendors, you’ll help maintain a high-performing, user-friendly, and compliant HR environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate employee and consultant records in HR System(s) and employee files
- Manage HR Systems user access
- Manage configuration in HR systems
- Act as first-line support for system queries and errors
- Identify and implement system improvements
- Act as first point of contact for external HR system service teams, raising cases where needed
- Conduct audits across all people data and systems (LMS,CMS & HRIS) ensuring accuracy
- Generate reports, understanding MI requirements (headcount, turnover, DEI, trends etc.)
- Ensure GDPR and legal requirements in all people data and systems
- Maintain knowledge base of people processes and documentation
- Promote best practice and respond to day-to-day employee queries
- Administer and manage full onboarding/offboarding, including contracts and checks
- Process job changes and employment letters
- Monitor probation periods and absences
- Administer payroll data/submissions ensuring updates are accurate and timely
- Monitor benefit enrolments and coordinate renewals within the benefit platform
- Deputise team members and support the wider People team as needed
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in HR Operations/Administration
- Hands on HRIS experience required
- Strong understanding of UK HR Law & GDPR
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Able to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience as System Superuser and managing back end functions/test systems
- Experience with payroll integration/payroll vendor and benefits
- Experience with reporting and analytics
- A-level or degree-level education
- CIPD qualification (preferred but not essential)
- Strong writing, communication and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook
