Job Description
The job in brief:
- Job Title - Commercial Performance Specialist
- Working model - hybrid (8 days per month)
- Team - you will join the lastminute.com Value Stream team within the Operations department.
- Level - Professional
- Location - Madrid - Spain
- Contract - Permanent, full time (36 h/week)
- Travel time required - average 5-10% to meet team members or for training purposes
What your impact will be:
- You will focus on destination level performance and competitiveness analysis, merchandising effectiveness and improving the user experience and product offering on our landing pages.
- You will coordinate and plan promotional/tactical activities collaborating with marketing channels (CRM, digital acquisition and brand marketing). The aim is to best align supply and demand through tools and reporting.
- You will focus on in-depth analysis of supply selection and offering at destination level, carrying out performance deep-dives in order to make informed decisions on the actions to be taken and drive conversations with supply teams on offer needs and direction.
Qualifications
Your expertise:
- BA/MA degree in relevant fields, e.g. business, marketing, tourism
- 2/3 years experience either in the Travel Industry (OTA/Tour operator environment) or in digital companies.
- Strong Excel knowledge and sound analytical skills.
- Knowledge of Google Analytics and SQL language would be an advantage
- Ability to work with Presentation Tools.
- Ability to influence decision-makers through presentation of data and insights.
- Fluency in English (mandatory requirement). Proficiency in French would be a plus. Knowledge of another language would be really appreciated.
Desirable:
- Problem-solving and innovative thinking.
- Keen eye for details and ability to effectively manage multiple tasks at a time, successfully meeting deadlines.
- Proactiveness and ability to work in autonomy, but still with a strong team spirit and able to effectively collaborate in teams.
