THE ROLE

We are seeking a Global Talent Brand & Marketing Leader with deep marketing expertise to architect, build, and operationalize a high-impact talent brand and recruitment marketing function.
This is a principal-level, hands-on marketing role and a team-of-one position to start—ideal for someone who thrives in building from the ground up. You will create the infrastructure, campaigns, and partner to refresh and activate our Employee Value Proposition (EVP), driving measurable market penetration through data-driven, multi-channel marketing and advanced analytics.
You’ll collaborate with Employee Engagement (for internal EVP alignment & Brand Reputation Management & Awards), Corporate Marketing & Communications (for brand consistency), Sourcing (for market intelligence), and Enablement (to activate tools and campaigns with recruiters), TA Excellence for dashboards, metrics and reporting. This is a highly matrixed, global role with enormous potential for impact.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Build and Architect from Scratch:
- Establish Pure’s global talent brand infrastructure, creating processes, governance, and scalable frameworks where none exist today.
- Partner to stand up our external EVP activation plan, including agency onboarding and vendor management for creative, content generation, and campaign delivery.
Design & Execute Global Talent Campaigns:
- Develop and launch multi-channel recruitment marketing campaigns (paid social, programmatic, content syndication, podcasts, and nurture campaigns via GEM CRM).
- Partner with Sourcing to leverage labor market insights and competitor benchmarks to sharpen targeting and messaging.
Content & Channel Ownership:
- Own content strategy, calendar management, and creative brief development, including basic design and video editing (leveraging tools like Canva or Adobe Express).
- Manage Pure’s talent brand presence across web, social, podcasts, CRM nurture flows, and future digital channels.
Analytics, Tracking & Optimization:
- Implement campaign attribution modeling, funnel analysis, and source tracking (including UTM tagging and Google Analytics) to measure engagement and hiring impact.
- Build dashboards to visualize performance and drive iterative improvement based on data.
Employee Advocacy & Activation:
- Partner with Employee Engagement to enable advocacy programs and UGC (user-generated content) campaigns, amplifying authentic employee voices externally.
- Collaborate with TA Enablement to train recruiters and hiring teams to activate EVP in candidate interactions and nurture sequences.
Marketing Tech & Vendor Management:
- Identify, implement, and manage recruitment marketing tools and platforms needed to scale (e.g., advocacy platforms, design tools, analytics solutions).
- Lead agency selection and management, including onboarding creative/content partners to supplement internal capacity.
- We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
WHAT YOU BRING
6+ years in talent brand, employer branding, or recruitment marketing with strong expertise in digital marketing and performance marketing.
Proficiency in marketing analytics (Google Analytics, UTM tracking, attribution modeling) and CRM nurture marketing (GEM or similar).
Experience building a marketing function from scratch, including process design, vendor onboarding, and tool selection.
Hands-on skills in content creation (basic design/video editing) and working with creative partners or agencies.
Expertise in SEO/SEM, funnel optimization, and CRO (conversion rate optimization).
Strong ability to translate labor market intelligence and data insights into targeted brand campaigns.
Comfortable in a highly matrixed global environment, partnering across TA, HR, Marketing, and business stakeholders.
