Role Overview
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join ADS’s Government Security Services team, supporting ADS Members across all sectors. As a Security Vetting Administrator, you’ll play a key role in delivering National Security Vetting within a close-knit, high-performing team who are committed to maintaining high standards and supporting national security.
You will work closely with the Head of Government Security, Deputy Security Controller, and Vetting Team Leader to manage the submission of applications, handling aftercare responsibilities and managing related invoicing.
The role reports to the ADS Security Vetting Team Leader and will require occasional travel within the UK. Overnight stays may be required.
Candidate Overview
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to join our team, with a strong focus on managing National Security Vetting (NSV) applications and pre-employment screening processes.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling a high-volume inbox and phone queries on a rota basis, and escalating complex security matters appropriately.
They will maintain accurate records for sponsored individuals and companies, support a range of aftercare requirements including travel reporting and annual security appraisals, and provide travel security advice when needed.
The role also involves confirming vetting statuses, managing overseas visit requests, assisting with invoicing, and liaising with government NSV teams. A key part of the position includes contributing to the maintenance of the Industry Personnel Security Assurance (IPSA) framework, while supporting senior security personnel as required.

Security Requirements
You MUST be a British citizen and hold a UK Passport. You MUST have lived in the UK continuously for the last 5 years You MUST be willing and able to gain and maintain You MUST be willing to attend the DISA Security Vetting &Personnel Security training course
Salary &Benefits
Salary; 30,00 per annum
Contract; Permanent Full-time role, 37.5 hours per week
Location; Farnborough Office, with flexible hybrid working up to 2 days per week
