Job Description
We are looking for a strategic leader to head our Strategic Account Management team. This role will lead a large senior team, elevate customer relationships, and play a pivotal role in achieving our growth ambitions in the Turkish market.
This position is responsible for managing long-term relationships with our key business partners, driving revenue growth, and implementing industry best practices. We are seeking a leader with strategic thinking, strong commercial acumen, and strong people management skills in a fast-growing and dynamic e-commerce environment.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development: Lead, coach, and mentor a large Strategic Account Management team, driving performance excellence and long-term client success. Develop and empower managers and team leaders through structured guidance, coaching, and professional growth opportunities to foster a high-performance, collaborative culture.
Strategic Account Management: Oversee the strategic management of key business partner relationships, ensuring long-term collaboration and sustainable growth through Joint Business Plans (JBPs). Lead executive-level business reviews with top partners to align on strategic priorities, set measurable goals, and drive mutual business success. Connecting brand needs with our marketing campaigns, leveraging partnerships to jointly grow the businesses of both Yemeksepeti & our partners. Building long lasting relationships and partnerships vs mostly centered around upsells.
Business Development & Growth: Develop data-driven strategies to ensure the team meets its revenue growth, upsell, and cross-sell targets. Analyze market trends to identify new business opportunities and define actions to accelerate growth.
Operational Excellence: Supervise team performance metrics and ensure compliance with operational standards. Optimize internal processes and workflows to increase efficiency and maintain the highest quality of service.
Commercial Negotiation: Conduct high-level negotiations on large-scale commercial agreements, commission rates, and promotional opportunities. Develop strategies to maximize profitability for both partners and the company.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including Logistics, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and Operations, to manage large-scale projects and ensure alignment with company goals.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of proven experience in Account Management, Key Account Management, or B2B Sales, preferably in e-commerce, F&B, or FMCG sectors.
- 5+ years of experience managing a large, multi-layered team. A track record of successfully leading teams of 25+ people and managing team leaders.Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in Account Management, Key Account Management, or B2B Sales, preferably in e-commerce, F&B, or FMCG sectors.
- Experience managing a large, multi-layered team. A track record of successfully leading teams of 25+ people and managing team leaders is a plus.
- Strong commercial negotiation, stakeholder management, and crisis resolution skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify opportunities, and drive strategic decisions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Adaptability, resilience, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in English.
