Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide sound, comprehensive financial advice and guidance to clients
- Educate, empower, coach and collaborate with clients to help them understand their financial circumstances, and make informed financial decisions to reach their short- medium, and in particular their long-term financial goals
- Meet with clients to form a customized financial outlook including budgets, expenses, income, insurance coverage, retirement planning, tax status, risk tolerance, investments and other elements to build a financial plan; ensure effective estate planning and implement the necessary steps for creating and accumulating wealth
- Review clients’ accounts and analyze their financial data to understand if life or economic changes are necessary to reach their financial goals
- Build and maintain strong relationships to retain existing clients
- Identify and cultivate new clients and be innovative in crafting solutions to improve their financial situation and change their lifestyles for the better
- Ensure that clients' financial goals are met, whilst fostering long-lasting relationships as their Financial Wellness Coach.
Requirements and Competencies
- Matric essential
- Bachelor’s degree (Advantageous)
- Minimum 2 years work experience
- Own transport
- Valid driver’s license
- Own laptop
- Clear credit history
- No criminal record
- An ethical and professional approach to work
- A target-driven and a results-oriented mindset
- Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Strong networking and relationship-building skills
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Proficient numeracy skills
- Discretion and an understanding of the need for client confidentiality
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent active listening skill
- Proficient computer skills and easily adaptable to new systems
