Job Description
As a People & Culture Officer at Pullman Dubai JLT, you will be a key contributor to fostering a vibrant and supportive environment where our Heartists can thrive. You will provide crucial support across the entire HR spectrum, ensuring seamless daily operations, maintaining positive employee relations, and championing our Pullman culture. This role requires a proactive and empathetic individual dedicated to upholding Accor values and ensuring compliance with UAE Labor Law, all while contributing to an exceptional experience for both our guests and our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Heartist Relations & Engagement:
Serve as a primary point of contact for Heartist inquiries, offering accurate information and guidance on P&C policies, benefits, and procedures with a friendly and helpful approach.
Support the P&C Director in addressing Heartist grievances, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution, always ensuring fairness, consistency, and alignment with our values.
Actively assist in organizing and promoting Heartist engagement initiatives, welfare programs, team-building activities, and recognition events that celebrate our successes.
Contribute to cultivating a positive, inclusive, and high-performance work culture reflective of the Pullman brand.
Administration & Compliance:
Maintain meticulous and confidential Heartist records (both physical and digital), ensuring data integrity and compliance with privacy regulations.
Manage the complete Heartist lifecycle administration, including efficient onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding processes.
Prepare official P&C -related letters, certificates, and reports accurately and in a timely manner.
Assist with payroll preparation by providing accurate data on attendance, leave, and new hires/leavers to the Finance department.
Process visa applications, renewals, and cancellations, ensuring strict adherence to UAE immigration laws and liaising with the PRO.
Recruitment & Talent Acquisition Support:
Coordinate and support the recruitment process from job posting to offer generation, ensuring a smooth experience for candidates and hiring managers.
Schedule interviews, conduct initial screenings, and manage candidate communication.
Facilitate a welcoming and efficient onboarding experience for all new Heartists, ensuring they feel integrated into the Pullman family from day one.
Policy & Procedure Adherence:
Ensure consistent application of hotel policies and procedures, as well as strict adherence to UAE Labor Law.
Assist in communicating policy updates and changes to Heartists effectively.
Support internal and external P&C audits as required.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a Human Resources role, preferably within the hospitality industry in the UAE.
Solid understanding of UAE Labor Law and immigration procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with Heartists at all levels.
High level of empathy, discretion, and confidentiality.
Proficient in HRIS systems (Oasys, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
A proactive approach, with the ability to anticipate needs and resolve issues effectively.
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
