Introduction
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced Diesel Engine / Generator Technician to support maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of diesel engines and generator systems. This role does not require formal qualifications, but practical experience as both a Diesel Engine and Generator Technician are essential. The ideal candidate is resourceful, mechanically minded, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Diesel Engine Maintenance & Repair

Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in diesel engines and related systems

Repair or replace worn, damaged, or malfunctioning components

Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tire rotations

Implement preventive maintenance schedules to extend equipment lifespan
Generator Systems

Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults in generator units

Replace faulty parts and restore generators to full operational status

Conduct load bank testing and performance monitoring to ensure efficiency

Maintain compliance with operational specifications and safety standards
Additional Duties

Assist with welding and fabrication tasks when required

Maintain accurate service records and report issues proactively

Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored
