The Operations Portfolio Manager leads enterprise portfolio management across Norgine—owning the project portfolio, the productivity pipeline, the resource & capacity planning tools, and the prioritisation method—to ensure investments and delivery capacity are aligned to strategy, governed effectively, and translated into measurable value. The role orchestrates intake‑to‑value flow, underpins portfolio governance and decision‑making, and provides a single, trusted picture of demand, capacity, risk, and benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Operate the enterprise portfolio governance rhythm across categories such as Enterprise, BD&L, Clinical, Product Innovation & Development, Product Maintenance, and Operational projects. Staring with best in class at Operations functions then to expand to the rest if applicable.
- Maintain the enterprise portfolio and single source of truth with timely, accurate status, risks, interdependencies, and benefits.
- Define and track portfolio KPIs (e.g., on‑strategy investment mix, cycle time to decision, throughput, benefits realisation, portfolio health).
- Lead the prioritisation framework to optimise value delivery and de‑politicise decision‑making.
- Maintain the productivity pipeline of cross‑functional efficiency/value initiatives.
- Facilitate quarterly re‑prioritisation in response to strategy, capacity, and performance signals.
- Own methods and tooling for capacity, skills, and role‑based planning across functions.
- Partner with Finance/HR/Functions to align headcount capacity, and funding with the prioritised roadmap.
- Own the PPM ecosystem; define data standards, workflows, automations, and integration with BI.
- Publish executive‑ready dashboards and portfolio packs that enable rapid, evidence‑based decisions.
- Ensure each initiative has a robust business case and that benefits realisation is tracked and verified.
- Partner with Finance on budgeting/forecasting at portfolio level.
- Coach sponsors, PMs, and workstream leads in portfolio behaviors.
- Communicate portfolio decisions and changes with clarity.
- Maintain a portfolio‑level risk & issue view; trigger mitigations and escalations early.
- Ensure process compliance and audit‑readiness of portfolio artefacts.

• Prioritisation & Benefits – designs and applies transparent scoring/triage; establishes robust benefits logic and tracking.
• Resource & Capacity Planning – implements methods and tools for capacity, skills, and role‑based planning; scenario analysis.
• PPM Tools & Data – owns data standards and workflows; integrates portfolio data with BI dashboards; drives data quality.
• Financial Acumen – partners with Finance on portfolio budgeting/forecasting and option trade‑offs; supports business casing.
• Stakeholder Influence & Communication – distils complex trade‑offs into clear decisions; facilitates exec forums.
• Risk, Compliance & Quality – maintains portfolio‑level risk view; ensures audit‑ready artefacts and process compliance.
EXPERIENCE
• Solid proven experience in PMO/Portfolio/Program Management in cross‑functional environments (life sciences/healthcare preferred).
• Demonstrable track‑record running portfolio governance, prioritisation, and resource capacity planning across multiple functions.
• Proficiency with PPM/portfolio tooling (SharePoint/Excel‑based trackers; familiarity with enterprise SPM tools). Strong Power BI/reporting literacy.
• Expert in prioritisation/scoring frameworks, business casing, and benefits realisation.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and facilitation—from ELT to project teams—able to translate complex trade‑offs into clear decisions.
• Data‑driven mindset; able to define metrics, challenge assumptions, and tell a compelling story with evidence.
• Relevant certifications welcome (e.g., PfMP®, PMP®, PRINCE2®, MoP®, SAFe Lean Portfolio Management).
