About the Role:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Part-Time Workplace Coordinator to help us create a welcoming and efficient environment in our Haarlem office. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting a team, has a proactive attitude, and takes pride in ensuring a smooth and safe workplace. You'll be a key point of contact for our employees and visitors, contributing to a positive and productive office culture.
This is a part-time, in-office position based in our Haarlem, Netherlands office 3 days per week.
Impact You’ll Own:
- Front Desk & Hospitality: Greet and welcome employees and visitors, ensuring they are signed in and directed appropriately. Maintain a tidy and presentable office.
- Mail & Deliveries: Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages. Prepare outgoing mail.
- Office Supplies: Monitor and maintain inventory of general office supplies, snacks, and beverages, and assist with restocking as needed.
- Meeting Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of meeting rooms, ensuring they are tidy and equipped. May include arranging refreshments.
- General Office Support: Assist with basic office maintenance tasks and report any issues to the appropriate person. Provide general administrative support as needed.
- Health & Safety: Assist with ensuring compliance with basic health and safety guidelines within the workplace. Participate in basic emergency preparedness procedures.
- Basic IT Assistance: Provide basic troubleshooting for common IT issues like Wi-Fi connectivity. Assist with maintaining a neat and organized workspace, including cable management.
- Event Support: Provide support for internal company events and activities, including setup, coordination, and light logistics.
What You Bring:
- A positive and welcoming attitude with a customer service mindset.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written), fluency with Dutch and English.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resourcefulness and a proactive approach to tasks.
- Basic computer skills (G Suite proficiency is a plus).
- Flexibility to work part-time hours during weekdays.
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Physical ability to handle various tasks, including light lifting and moving of office supplies.
