What You’ll Work On

Privacy – Help ensure GDPR and ePrivacy compliance for products used in homes around the world.
AI Governance – Contribute to our readiness for the EU AI Act, supporting ethical and transparent AI use in our products.
Product Compliance – Assist in reviews for CE marking, safety, and environmental regulations for Sonos products across Europe.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data, and Security teams to weave compliance into every stage of product development.
Track and brief the team on regulatory changes that could impact our technology and customers.
Support audits, regulatory submissions, and incident response processes.

What You Bring

Currently studying law (preferably LLM) with an interest intech law, AI regulation, and/or product compliance.
Some knowledge of GDPR, the EU AI Act, or EU product safety standards (or a willingness to dive in and learn fast).
Strong research, analytical, and communication skills.
Curiosity, adaptability, and a problem-solving mindset.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with diverse teams.

The Details

Location: Remote from anywhere in The Netherlands.
Duration: 6–12 months (full or part-time) with potential extension.
Allowance: €1000/month (based on 40 hours/week).
