Position Overview
We are looking for a Process Automation & Optimization Intern / Project Developer to join our Human Resources team.
In this role, you will contribute to digital transformation and process optimization projects, focusing on automating HR and operational workflows such as job offer generation, contract management, onboarding, and reporting.
You will collaborate closely with HR, IT, and Operations to design and implement smart, scalable, and compliant automation tools that improve efficiency and enhance the employee experience.
This internship offers an opportunity to combine technical, analytical, and organizational skills within a private equity environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and map HR and operational processes to identify automation and optimization opportunities.
- Design and develop automated workflows (e.g., for job offer creation, approvals, contract generation, and onboarding) using tools such as Zapier, Make (Integromat), or Power Automate.
- Develop document templates (offer letters, contracts, amendments) with variable placeholders and automated data merging.
- Integrate HR systems (ATS, HRIS, e-signature platforms, internal databases) to enable seamless data flow.
- Create dashboards and KPI tracking tools to monitor workflow performance (approval time, offer acceptance rate, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with GDPR and eIDAS (electronic signature regulations).
- Collaborate with HR and IT teams to document processes, provide training, and ensure long-term sustainability of automation initiatives.
Example Projects
- Automating the job offer and contract generation workflow from data input to e-signature collection and archiving.
- Designing approval routes for hiring decisions and contract validation.
- Building integrations between ATS, HRIS, and internal tools for consistent data management.
- Developing HR dashboards and compliance tracking tools.
- Contributing to onboarding process automation (document collection, access provisioning, welcome kits).
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) student in Business school, Engineering, Information Systems, Business, or Data Science (specialization in Process Optimization or Digital Transformation, is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
- Basic knowledge of automation tools or programming languages (Python, VBA, Power Automate, or similar).
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, or Google Workspace.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in English and French (spoken and written).
