Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented KYC Officer Intern to join our team. In this role, you will support the implementation and monitoring of Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures related to investors, potential investments, and service providers. You will work in close collaboration with the Compliance, Investment, and Finance teams, as well as in direct contact with clients and external stakeholders, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of due diligence documentation throughout the onboarding and monitoring processes.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on expertise in KYC and AML compliance within a fast-paced and dynamic private equity environment, gaining direct exposure to the operational and regulatory aspects of a European investment firm.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the onboarding and review of investors and counterparties, ensuring all required KYC documentation is collected and up to date.
- Assist in conducting AML/CFT checks, including screening against sanctions lists and adverse media monitoring.
- Contribute to the maintenance and update of compliance registers and databases (investor files, incidents, training logs, etc.).
- Help prepare and review periodic reports and internal dashboards for compliance and internal control purposes.
- Participate in the enhancement of KYC tools and processes, including automation and digitalization initiatives.
Qualification
- Master’s degree (Bac+4/5) student in Finance, Law, or Audit (specialization in Compliance or Risk Management is a plus).
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Curious, proactive, and eager to learn in a dynamic, international environment.
- Strong written and spoken skills in English and French.
