Job Description
Turner & Townsend are seeking a Senior Project Controls Manager, with Planning bias to work on large industrial construction projects. As an experienced Project Controls Professional you will establish the required processes, templates and tools, and agree the baseline for cost and schedule, whilst monitoring performance against it and incorporating the impacts of risk, opportunities and change in a controlled manner. The Senior Project Controls Manager will operate in a collaborative supporting team environment, ensuring that client objectives are met.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain resource-loaded schedules to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Lead dynamic planning sessions and collaborate with the project management team and stakeholders to create and implement schedules and identify risks.
- Analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
- Lead the evaluation of the project‘s time, cost, and quality targets, applying governance controls as necessary to enable the successful delivery of the project.
- Undertake “what if” / scenario analysis on schedules.
- Prepare and update cash flow projections regularly.
- Provide forecasts for project completion, manhours, and resources to optimize cost forecasting.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, focusing on creating scalable solutions and team development.
Qualifications
- Experience in project controls coordination in all phases of the project lifecycle including program, risk and reporting with project experience of large complex construction projects, ideally in the in the Industrial & Manufacturing, Life Science/ Pharma, Data Center, sectors.
- Advanced Knowledge and Proficiency with multiple discipline specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and/or other planning and resourcing software.
- Able to demonstrate a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Reliable with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills, quick thinking and ability to meet project deadlines as necessary.
- Highly motivated and driven with a passion for delivering to your clients and have the ability to work independently.
- BSc Degree in the relevant field is preferred.
- Fluent in both Spanish and English.
