Job Description
The Esports Communications Department at Ubisoft leads global communication strategy for all Ubisoft esports activities, including its flagship title Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege.
We are looking for a Communications Manager (4-month contract) to support our global esports communications initiatives. In this role, you will contribute to the development and execution of communications strategies across social media, press, influencer relations, and internal communications, helping amplify the reach and visibility of Ubisoft’s esports ecosystem.
You will work closely with the broader Esports and Publishing teams, as well as external partners, to ensure a consistent, engaging, and impactful presence across all communications touchpoints.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content
Participate in the deployment of social media strategies for Ubisoft’s esports activities.
Support in the management of official Ubisoft Esports channels, including planning, publishing, and reporting.
Assist in coordinating community publication schedules and ensuring alignment with regional teams.
Monitor and analyze the performance of esports social content, preparing regular reports with key learnings and opportunities.
Conduct ongoing social listening and trend monitoring to identify new tools, formats, and community behaviors.
Editorial & Internal Communications
Draft and edit written content for Ubisoft’s editorial channels (e.g., blog posts, esports updates, internal newsletters).
Support the creation of internal communication materials that highlight key esports milestones, updates, and initiatives.
Press & Influencer Relations
Contribute to the execution of esports press and influencer campaigns, including press release drafting, media coordination, and results tracking.
Liaise with regional communications teams to ensure message alignment across territories.
Pro Player & Talent Relations
Support the organization of player communications workshops and content briefings.
Assist with relationship management and communication between pro players and internal departments.
Help prepare documentation, talking points, and assets to facilitate positive and aligned interactions with the pro ecosystem.
Qualifications
- A first experience (internship or contract) in communications, marketing, social media, or esports.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English (French is a plus but not required).
- Strong understanding of social media platforms and esports audiences.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working on multiple projects simultaneously.
- A proactive, positive, and collaborative attitude.
- Passion for video games and esports, particularly competitive ecosystems like Rainbow Six Siege, is a plus.
