WHAT IS YOUR ROLE
As a Fulfillment Team Captain you play a key leadership role in ensuring smooth, efficient, and accurate fulfillment operations within our supply chain division. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily performance and productivity of the fulfillment team, supporting complex cases, and serving as a key point of contact for cross-functional teams. You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about optimizing fulfillment processes to meet customer expectations.

WHAT WILL YOU DO
Fulfillment Operations & Team Oversight:
- Supervise and support the fulfillment team to ensure timely and accurate processing of orders, inventory management, and shipment coordination.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as order accuracy, on-time shipping rates, and productivity levels, to drive continuous improvement.
- Provide hands-on support for complex fulfillment cases, including high-value orders, escalations, or special handling requests.
- Ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implement process improvements as needed.
- Assist in training and onboarding new fulfillment team members, reinforcing best practices and efficiency techniques.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Act as the primary liaison between the fulfillment team and other departments within the supply chain division, including inventory management, logistics, and customer service.
- Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve order discrepancies, delays, or special requests.
- Work closely with leadership to align fulfillment operations with overall business objectives and customer expectations.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings and provide insights on fulfillment trends, challenges, and opportunities.
Problem-Solving & Escalation Management:
- Troubleshoot and resolve fulfillment-related issues, including inventory shortages, system discrepancies, and order processing errors.
- Serve as the go-to resource for team members when addressing operational challenges and escalated cases.
- Proactively identify potential risks or bottlenecks in the fulfillment process and recommend solutions.
Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement:
- Analyze fulfillment workflows and recommend strategies to enhance efficiency, reduce errors, and improve overall team performance.
- Implement quality control measures to minimize fulfillment defects and ensure a high standard of order accuracy.
- Support the adoption of new technologies or process enhancements to streamline fulfillment operations.

YOU HAVE…
- 3+ years of experience in fulfillment, warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management, preferably in an eCommerce environment.
- Prior experience leading or supervising a team in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Proficiency with order management systems (OMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), and inventory tracking tools.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills with the ability to handle complex fulfillment challenges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams.
- High level of accuracy in order processing, inventory management, and reporting.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex ideas to customers, both verbally and in written form.
- Aptitude to quickly learn and navigate new technology, systems, and applications.
