Job Description
As a Delivery Driver at Link 4 Logistics, you will be responsible for transporting goods efficiently and safely to their destinations. This role offers great earning potential and the flexibility to choose your workdays.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting multi-drop deliveries in designated local areas
- Safely operating commercial vehicles such as vans
- Communicating effectively with dispatchers and customers
- Handling heavy lifting when loading and unloading goods
- Ensuring timely and accurate deliveries
- Adhering to all traffic and safety regulations
Skills:
- Experience as a delivery driver
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency in commercial driving

- Familiarity with warehouse operations
- Valid driver's license with a clean record

Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with the Reading area and surrounding regions
- Strong time management and organizational abilities
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Basic smartphone proficiency for using navigation and delivery apps
- Ability to lift and handle packages of various sizes and weights
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous delivery driver experience preferred
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Additional Information
ABOUT THE WORK:
This is a self employed Role.
We work with Amazon in Theale Reading,
The van and insurance and fuel are already incorporated in your rate.
We operate 7 days a week and you can work up to 6 days in that week. A week starts on a Sunday and finishes on a Saturday, your payment is 2 weeks in arrears but is paid every Friday.
Our KPI’s is based on your
RELIABILITY ( making sure you turn up for the shifts you have rostered in with the on site manager)
PERFORMANCE (Make sure you are doing what the app requires you to do in order to make the customer happy, Our Client Amazon are very customer focused and it is one of there main focus points)
SAFTEY (Making sure you are safe on the road for yourself and others, this include speeding and using common sense in certain situations. For eg will the van fit in this tunnel or is the app telling me to go on a field where i might get stuck) where you think its not right call the on site team and clarify.
