Job Description
Your Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the supervision and control of the cleaning and servicing of all bedrooms, public areas, and linen porters in the hotel.
- To ensure the highest levels of cleanliness throughout the hotel, and well maintained public areas and rooms.
- To ensure that all guest rooms and public areas adhere to all brand standards and quality audit standards.
- To lead and develop the Housekeeping team and provide a naturally friendly, helpful and responsive level of service for our guests.
- To train and develop the team to their fullest potential, encouraging them to become fully rounded employees.
- To ensure that all Health and Safety standards are adhered to and any breaches in standards are reported to the Head Housekeeper.
- To assist the Head Housekeeper in identifying training opportunities for the team and ensuring that they receive timely feedback on their performance.
- To assist the Head Housekeeper in maintaining and developing our partnership with our external housekeeping provider.
- To maintain a positive and friendly attitude at all times, even when working to find solutions to challenges.
Qualifications
Your skills:
- You have a high level of verbal and written communication skills and competent computer skills.
- You have experience of Micros Fidelio Opera or a similar property management system.
- You have experience of monitoring and implementing Health & Safety procedures
