The mission of our Business Division (BD), Technology and Technical Support (T&TS), is to propose to our clients sustainable, low-carbon solutions, which are also efficient in terms of technologies / process, catalysts / adsorbents and services for the whole domains Axens is involved in (Biomass & Oil Hydroprocessing & conversion, Petrochemicals production & purification, Gas and Water Treatment, CO2 capture). In this Product Line Sustainable Conversion & Hydroprocessing, Chemicals Integration is in charge of technologies and products related to the applications Renewable Diesel, Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF), Clean Fuels, Petrochemical Feedstocks and Specialty Products.
Tasks and activities:
Our Sustainable VGO Conversion & Hydroprocessing team is seeking a driven intern to help to continue revolutionizing our digital engineering platform. In this role, you will be at the forefront of innovation, tasked with:
Analyzing Industrial Processes: Dive deep into the mechanics of our industrial units to understand their core operations.
Harnessing Data: Collect and interpret vital data from our industrial cycles to uncover insights and drive efficiency.
Building a New Benchmark: Play a key part in creating a next-generation system for evaluating and comparing unit performance.
Developing Smart Models: Combine laboratory findings with real-world process data to build intelligent, predictive models.
Creating Digital Tools: Design and implement new software for rapid reactor modeling and automated reporting that will be used by our engineers.
Profile:
- Currently in your final year of an engineering school or Master's program, specializing in Chemical Engineering.
- Seeking a six-month, full-time internship.
- Shows curiosity for digital solutions and an aptitude for logical problem-solving.
- Comfortable with programming, with a good foundation in Python and VBA.
