Job Description
About the role
We are looking to hire a Business Unit Manager to lead our Hygiene Services division in Spain, reporting directly to the Managing Director.
This executive role has full P&L responsibility and is focused on driving profitable growth and operational excellence across the division. You will lead the entire function, including Sales, Marketing, and Service Operations, overseeing a significant operational team of approximately 250+ colleagues across Spain. You will be expected to define and execute the country strategy to maximize portfolio growth and customer retention.
Main Responsibilities
The Business Unit Manager will:
Own the P&L: Deliver the Profit & Loss results for the Hygiene division, ensuring strong financial performance across sales and service activities.
Define and Execute Strategy: Formulate and execute the division's country growth strategy, encompassing sales channels, marketing campaigns, and service deployment.
Lead Customer Success: Ensure very high customer satisfaction and superior client retention rates by embedding a culture of excellent service quality.
Team Leadership: Lead and manage the service and sales leadership teams, driving performance and guiding the necessary organizational evolution for scale.
Drive Innovation: Champion the implementation of the digital strategy and introduce new, creative solutions to improve operational efficiency and team productivity.
Portfolio Management: Oversee the product and services catalog, ensuring quality, profitability, and full adherence to all company standards and rules.
Qualifications
Main Requirements
10+ years of senior managerial experience, including direct Profit & Loss (P&L) responsibility for a significant business unit.
Proven experience successfully managing a large, geographically dispersed operational team (e.g., technicians and field sales).
Educated to Graduate level; a Technical Degree (e.g., Engineering) or a qualification in Economics/Finance is preferred.
Fluent professional proficiency in Spanish and English (written and verbal).
Ability and willingness to travel frequently across Spain and Europe.
