Role Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join our team on a part-time, permanent basis. This position is for 24 hours per week, with a requirement for daily presence. Working hours are flexible and will be discussed during the interview process.
The ideal candidate will bring experience from the travel industry—preferably within the snow sports or luxury sectors. This role is fully remote, offering flexible working arrangements that support a healthy work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Website Management and Content Creation: Oversee and manage WordPress website, ensuring optimal user experience and functionality.
- Content Creator Management: Provide guidance and direction to our content creator to ensure alignment with brand messaging and objectives across social media platforms and blog channels.
- Analysis and Budgeting: Analyse marketing performance metrics, manage budgets effectively, and identify opportunities for optimisation.
- Tech and AI Developments: Stay updated on tech developments relevant to the industry and implement new technologies to enhance marketing efforts.
- Relationship Management: Maintain an active relationship with resort teams in the Alps and providing a responsive marketing support to the sales team.
- Content Creation: Develop compelling adverts for print and online platforms and write sales eshots and occasional blogs ensuring consistency with brand messaging and identity.
- Sales Support: Navigate payment systems with accounts, set up pricing and availability at the start of every season, and make edits as required.
- PR and Media Relations: Write press releases and correspond with journalists.
- Youtuber and Influencer Collaboration Coordination: Maintain relationships and organise and facilitate trips and collaborations with Youtubers and influencers, including itinerary and logistics coordination, negotiation of terms and deliverables monitoring.
- Brand Management: Ensure branding consistency across all channels and materials, collaborating closely with our Content Creator and external partners.
- SEO: Liaise with our SEO specialist and work with them to complete monthly tasks.
- Partners: Liaise with company partners to maximise joint promotional coverage.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in marketing, preferably within the luxury travel industry and ideally the snow sports sector.
- Proficiency in WordPress web development. An understanding of SEO and simple CSS is desirable.
- Experience with graphics editing (e.g. Photoshop, Canva).
- Strong analytical skills and experience managing budgets.
- Familiarity with tech developments relevant to marketing.
- Excellent communication and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible environment.
- A good understanding of social media trends and experience creating social media advert campaigns.
- Experience in PR, media relations, and brand management is highly desirable.
