If you are a qualified enthusiastic legal professional, you may be the expert we are looking for to join our dynamic team in Türkiye.
This role supports PSI’s Legal with a primary focus on contracts related to clinical research. As an Associate Legal Counsel, you will work closely with PSI’s international legal and project teams in the review of contracts and to provide legal advice and support for Turkish office.
The position is open to candidates from both Istanbul and Ankara.
Your role will include:
- Review, draft and negotiate contracts and other legal documents relating to clinical research.
- Adapt company contract templates to the requirements of clients, hospitals, investigators, medical specialists and vendors.
- Prepare, drafts and reviews corporate documents.
- Provides advice and support on compliance with clinical research legislation, company law, employment law, data protection and other legislation.
- Drafts, reviews, and updates PSI policies, procedures and instructions relating to legal matters and supports their implementation.
- Supports compliance with PSI policies, procedures, and instructions relating to legal matters.
- Provides training to other PSI departments.
- Researches, and analyses various legal matters.
Qualifications
- Law degree, with sound knowledge of Turkish legislation and contract law
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial legal practice (law firm or consulting), ideally with exposure to the pharmaceutical sector
- Full professional proficiency in Turkish and English
- Good knowledge of commercial, corporate and contract law, as well as other relevant legislation (e.g. data protection; labor code)
- Advanced legal contract drafting and review skills
- Good communication, negotiations and organizational skills
- Ability to work accurately with strong attention to detail
- Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office package, in particular MS Word
