Comcast NBCUniversal has announced its intent to create a new publicly traded company ('Versant') comprised of most of NBCUniversal's cable television networks, including USA Network, CNBC, MSNBC, Oxygen, E!, SYFY and Golf Channel along with complementary digital assets Fandango, Rotten Tomatoes, GolfNow, GolfPass, and SportsEngine. The well-capitalized company will have significant scale as a pure-play set of assets anchored by leading news, sports and entertainment content. The spin-off is expected to be completed during 2025.
Job Description
We are looking for a Project Junior Specialist with 3 years of experience to join our Universal Pictures International Spain Marketing team in Madrid. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, this role will work closely with the Partnership and Digital Managers, supporting the development, execution, and follow-up of key marketing and communication projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Partnership and Digital Managers on the ideation, planning, and execution of marketing and communication initiatives.
- Oversee day-to-day coordination of projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution.
- Manage project budgets, ensuring effective cost control and resource allocation.
- Prepare presentations, status reports, and documentation to support internal communication and decision-making.
- Monitor and track project performance and KPIs, providing actionable insights for optimization.
- Liaise with external partners, agencies, and vendors as needed to support project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or Communication.
- Experience in a similar role within a marketing team, communications, or project management.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Solid knowledge of the digital landscape, market trends, and communication channels.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and follow up on execution and results.
- Highly organized, proactive, and capable of working cross-functionally.
- Intermediate to advanced level of English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in entertainment, consumer goods, lifestyle, or digital industries.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
