Job Description
Part time Dental Dental Hygienist required at our busy practice, Fresh Dental Smile Clinic on the outskirts of the City of York.
We are a 3 surgery private and Denplan practice, located on the outskirts of the City of York
- Start Date: Ideal start of October 2025 however a later start can also be negotiated
- Days and Hours: 1 to 2 days per week, with surgery space available on Tuesdays & Wednesdays
- Modern and fully computerised - SFD software
- Digital X rays, including CBCT and Intra-oral scanner
- Experienced, long serving and fully trained staff
- Excellent CQC reports and FFT feedback from patients
- Free road parking
- Active GDC registration is required for this position with at least 2 years minimum experience in practice as a Dental Hygienist

Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Dental Hygiene from a recognised institution
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a practising dental hygienist
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of dental hygiene procedures
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and safety standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective patient education
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of care
- Familiarity with dental practice management software and record-keeping systems
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK dental regulations and best practices
- Empathetic approach to patient care, with the ability to put anxious patients at ease
